The Royal Standard

The only pub in our village can be found on Grange Road, Widmer End and is highly recommended by everyone in our village. Our village teams include: Pool on Mondays, Darts on Tuesday and Friday, Billiards on Mondays and Wednesdays, Cricket on Saturdays and Football on Sundays! And DO NOT FORGET - Pub Quiz on the first Thursday of every month and Live Music on some Saturdays (See black-boards for details)

Under new management and having recently been re-decorated I would highly recommend the restaurant for its varied menu and clean, friendly environment. When I when there is Oct 07 the staff (and management) were excellent and I would personally recommend this to everyone.

Widmer End St Margarets Cricket Club

We play on the recreation ground behind the village hall where we have our small pavilion with good changing rooms and showers. We do not have a bar because the Royal standard is only over the road. We run two saturday sides in the Kookaburra Mid Bucks League and one Sunday side playing friendly games. Unfortunately we do not have a colts side at present New players are always welcome.

High Wycombe Sub Aqua Club (HWSAC)

HWSAC want to reach out to people in the Wycombe area, to tempt them to try snorkelling and/or scuba diving.
We are a member of BSAC (British Sub Aqua Club) and are non-profit making, all our qualified instructors give their time and expertise voluntarily.
We charge a membership fee, it includes membership to BSAC and reasonable fees for training.
